Holding Village is a 257-acre master planned development located in idyllic Wake Forest, North Carolina, approximately 18 miles northeast of Raleigh. The community is planned around the pristine 15-acre Holding Lake and at full build out will have up to 1,350 residential units, including single family homes, townhomes and multifamily units. Holding Village is patterned after a traditional neighborhood design complete with future quaint Village Center.
The first phase required significant restoration of the dam and lake. Currently over 165 homes sold by three builders, Ashton Woods Homes, John Wieland Homes and Drees homes, and sales have just begun in phase 3. The full master plan incorporates civic uses, extensive open space, parks, play areas and a pedestrian trail system in phase four that ties to the regional park network.
